We have reached an exciting point in our employee engagement climate survey work, one avenue in our efforts to do what we do better. 
 
Last year more than 70 percent of campus community members completed the survey, sharing their voice in our work, workplace, and culture. Results were shared at In the Loop and faculty meetings and posted on our website<\/a>. Since then, divisions have met to look deeply at their results and determine their top priorities. Now the work of making positive change in response to the survey findings begins.   
 
I\u2019m pleased to share that division action plans and timelines are now written and shared on the website<\/a>. I encourage you to read your own division\u2019s plan, but also those of other divisions. There are many inspiring ideas, and we can learn from one another.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Beyond working on division-level actions, the survey identified institutional challenges related to compensation, communication, shared governance, well-being, community, collaboration, and recognition. In the coming months, Cabinet members and I will work on these areas and announce action plans for the campus community. 
 
The climate survey work dovetails with Project 2024<\/a>, which is also moving forward and will shift into action planning this coming academic year.  
 
Your input and involvement are already positively shaping our future. Thank you for furthering our progress!<\/p>\n
