Dear Campus Community, <\/span><\/h1>\n

We are excited to be back on campus for the start of the 2022-23 academic year. Students have been returning over the past few weeks, and the energy on campus is palpable.<\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
As our students have returned to campus, we have seen an increase in positive cases of COVID-19. To limit the further spread of the virus, we will temporarily adjust our COVID-19 masking protocols to strongly recommend that all members of the community wear well-fitting masks whenever in indoor spaces <\/strong>(N95 or KN95 masks are the most effective).<\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
Our campus masking recommendations will change dependent on the level of spread at CC and in Colorado Springs. The thresholds listed below have been established through our own campus modeling of COVID spread and in consultation with the El Paso County Health Department. Since mid-August, 35 individuals on our campus have tested positive for COVID-19, with 27 of those positive tests coming in the last week. <\/div>\n
