Last spring, we launched Gratitude Gifts after receiving two anonymous donations to be used to recognize staff and faculty for the positive impact they have on their colleagues and the college as a whole. The donors were inspired by what they heard in Project 2024 discussions. As a result, over 300 people were recognized by their colleagues!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am excited to announce that we can continue this appreciation practice because of the ongoing generosity of these donors.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I invite you to submit a nomination in Block 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To nominate a colleague to receive a Gratitude Gift, email a short note (50 words or less) with the following to <\/span>gratitudegifts@coloradocollege.edu<\/a>“>gratitudegifts@coloradocollege.edu<\/a><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n

Subject line: I appreciate [first name]<\/span>
Name of the CC employee you are nominating<\/span>
Short explanation (50 words maximum) of why you appreciate this person<\/span><\/p>\n

*Please send one email per nomination, as your email will be shared with the recipient<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nominees will choose from a $10 gift card to use on campus at any of the Bon Appetit outlets, including Colorado Coffee, Susie B\u2019s, Rastall Cafe, Benji\u2019s, and The Preserve, or a $10 gift card for use at the CC Bookstore.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The recipient will be notified by email of receiving a Gratitude Gift and where to pick it up. There is a limit of one gift per nominated person so more people can benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thank you for taking the time to recognize each other for the remarkable work you all do. And thanks again to the anonymous donors who are making this program possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
