All faculty, staff, and students are invited to celebrate Homecoming and Family Weekend, Friday, Oct. 7-Sunday, Oct. 9.<\/h1>\n

With more than 2,000 parents, families, alumni, and guests registered to attend HCFW, we know the energy and excitement will be felt across campus. So many guests will also likely mean parking congestion and more pedestrian traffic around campus throughout the weekend. Thanks in advance for your patience, and for welcoming parents, families, alumni, and guests back to campus for this CC tradition.<\/div>\n

While some events require pre-registration and fees, there are many events the entire campus is invited to attend. Whether it\u2019s attending one of the many athletic events, various lectures, or other activities listed below, we hope you\u2019ll find a way to be part of the festivities throughout the weekend. You can view more details and the full schedule<\/a> online. Below is a preview of some of the events open to the campus community during Homecoming and Family Weekend. In addition, we have lots of opportunities to help at events \u2014 if you\u2019d like to volunteer, please email homecoming@coloradocollege.edu<\/a><\/a>.<\/div>\n

Thursday, Oct. 6<\/strong><\/h2>\n

3-5 p.m. | Summer Research and Internship Symposium<\/b>
<\/strong>Richard F. Celeste Theatre, Cornerstone Arts Center
<\/em>Pre-Homecoming festivities kick off with the Summer Research and Internship Symposium on Thursday, Oct. 6. The symposium is the culminating event of summer collaborative research conducted by Colorado College students and faculty, as well as a variety of internship experiences students undertook away from campus. It brings students, faculty, family, and alumni together to learn about these experiences through a series of short presentations, poster sessions, and discussions across a variety of disciplines.<\/div>\n

Join the academic experience at CC, and learn from faculty, students, and alumni through short on-stage presentations covering a wide range of topics. A final listing of presenters will be available at check-in. You are welcome to come and go as your interest and time allows during the two-hour window. Susan Ashley will present the final Tiger Talk at 11:30 a.m. focused on Project 2024.<\/div>\n

2-5 p.m. | Film and Media Studies Alumni Panel and Reception<\/b>
Screening Room and Film Garage, Cornerstone Arts Center<\/em>
Please join us for a short and fun panel featuring notable alumni to learn about their experiences post-CC. The panel will be followed by a reception where you will be able to meet past and current Film and Media Studies students, faculty, and staff. Alumni panelists include Aya Blanco \u201917 (she\/her), Sophie Capp \u201817 (she\/her), Will Sardinsky \u201917 (he\/his).<\/div>\n

<\/em>Join us for food trucks, refreshments, entertainment featuring young alumni musicians, and more! With seven food trucks to choose from, there’s sure to be one that tempts your tastebuds.
