I am pleased to announce that we will launch an additional set of annual president\u2019s awards \u2013 the Just World Awards \u2013 in Block 5. The five Just World Awards will recognize CC alumni, students, staff, faculty, and retirees who are dedicated to actions and principles that create a more just and equitable world.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Just World Awards are named for five inspiring members of the CC community who exemplify change-making actions, qualities, and characteristics that help build a world with more equitable access to health, safety, education, and opportunity. These alumni, faculty, and staff have made great positive impact through their life\u2019s work, and they set an example for all of us. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just World Award winners will receive a physical award and $3,000. The President\u2019s Office will begin accepting nominations for the awards in Block 5, and winners will be announced at Honors Convocation in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These new awards are being established in addition to the President\u2019s Leadership Awards, which celebrate outstanding staff and faculty leaders and are awarded at Spring Conference in January.<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the Colorado College community are encouraged to submit nominations for the five Just World Awards:<\/span><\/p>\n
