Sharing gratitude is a simple but powerful way to build and nurture a thriving campus community. Gratitude helps us stay positive, appreciate experiences, improve our health, deal with difficulty, and build stronger relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Because of the generosity of donors, our Gratitude Gifts program for staff and faculty continues \u2013 and starting now, any<\/em> staff or faculty member may receive a gift, even if they have received one before<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

How it works: Staff and faculty can nominate a colleague to receive their choice of a Gratitude Gift \u2013 a $10 gift card that may be used at campus Bon Appetit establishments or a $10 gift card to use at the CC Bookstore.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The Gratitude Gifts program was started last year when two anonymous donors, inspired by what they heard in Project 2024 discussions, provided funding for this way to spread appreciation. Since then, hundreds of campus community members have received gifts and gratitude.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

To nominate a colleague, email a short note (50 words or less) with the following to\u00a0gratitudegifts@coloradocollege.edu<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n

Subject line: I appreciate [first name]<\/span>
\nName of the CC employee you are nominating<\/span>
\nShort explanation (50 words maximum) of why you appreciate this person<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Please send one email per nomination, as your email will be shared with the recipient.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The recipient will be notified by email of receiving a\u00a0Gratitude Gift and where to pick it up. All staff and faculty are eligible at this time even if they received a Gratitude Gift before. The limit of one\u00a0gift per nominated person restarts now, so more people can benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Thank you for helping to build a thriving CC community through this simple but meaningful act. And thanks again to the donors who make Gratitude Gifts possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
