I am excited to announce our HR newsletter: People Connections. The Human Resources team is working hard to partner with you to help CC continue to be a great place to work. We hope the updates in this newsletter will be helpful to you.  <\/div>\n

In this edition, you\u2019ll meet a member of our team, Sara San Souci, and learn about how you can get the most out of the performance management process. You\u2019ll also learn about a benefit that may be helpful to you. Additionally, we\u2019ll be sharing key dates you might want to be aware of.  <\/div>\n

Sara, a native of Colorado Springs, came to Colorado College in December 2021. Sara is certified through <\/span>Society of Human Resource Management \u2013 Senior Certified Professional<\/span><\/span> and has a master\u2019s degree in human resource management from Colorado State University-Global Campus. Annual Performance Evaluation Reminders<\/strong> <\/span><\/h1>\n
<\/div>\n
As an employee, we want to ensure you have the opportunity for a dedicated conversation with your supervisor to review your performance and work contributions over the last year. The conversation is intended to reflect on successes and celebrate accomplishments, discuss challenges that may have affected performance, and to reaffirm that the work you will accomplish in 2023-24 aligns with the college\u2019s mission and department goals.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
During the month of\u2026<\/div>\n

<\/span> <\/p>\n

March:<\/strong> All staff members complete their self-review. Once complete, send the form to your direct supervisor so they can add their comments. You are also invited to provide feedback<\/a> on your supervisor.<\/div>\n

<\/span> <\/p>\n

April: <\/strong><\/span>After reading your self-review and taking the time to add their comments, your supervisor will send you a copy of the evaluation form prior to your formal development conversation. All supervisors and staff will have their formal development meetings before the end of the month.  After the meeting, both parties sign the finalized evaluation form.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span> <\/p>\n

May:<\/strong> Performance evaluation forms are due to HR by May 5<\/strong>. Anyone who wishes to appeal a rating of \u201cDoes not meet expectations\u201d must notify their supervisor and HR prior to May 12, and you will be notified of the appeal decision no later than May 26<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
