Don’t Forget the LGBTQ+ Basics Workshop Tomorrow!<\/span>

Join us tomorrow for this exciting course, which introduces participants to foundational terminology and key LGBTQ+ concepts. We will review the differences between sexual orientation and gender identity, and explain what it means to identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. We will also explore best practices for engaging with the LGBTQ+ community, the importance of pronouns, tips for supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues, and allyship strategies.<\/div>\n

Johnny Humphrey, MBA, is the director of inclusivity services at The Center on Colfax and leads the agency\u2019s RANGE Consulting program. Humphrey has over a decade of IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility) experience and was a recipient of the 2020 Inclusion@Work<\/a> Award by the Center for Legal Inclusion.
