Updates to Talent Acquisition Process<\/strong><\/span>

One of the strategic objectives for the Human Resources team is to improve our people processes to reflect our commitment to being an antiracist institution and center the employee experience in our process design. With this in mind, we have updated our Talent Acquisition processes to reflect evidence-based strategies for creating more equitable search practices and enhanced support for individuals involved in a search. Please see the process map below to get a sense of some of the changes to search practices.<\/span><\/div>\n

Cigna Network Update<\/strong><\/span>

While the Cigna-Optum contract terminated September 12, the two parties have agreed to continue negotiations until September 29.  Optum providers will remain in-network until at least September 29.  We will update you as soon as we know the outcome of those extended negotiations.<\/span><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

Do You Have Student Loan Debt? Do You Know About These Two Programs?<\/strong><\/span>

Saving on a Valuable Education<\/a> (SAVE) Plan may significantly decrease monthly payments.  It is a revamped income-driven repayment program that calculates payment amounts based on income and family size. 
 
Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program<\/a> <\/span>(PSLF) is a federal program designed to reduce student loan debt for people who work in public service. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

This person manages the success of the CC student employment program and serves as a compliance officer, human resources manager, and IT support for student employment program stakeholders encompassing roughly 1000 student employees, 150 timesheet approvers and supervisors, and 200 student positions. Meet Kaelibeth Rose, HR Administrative Assistant<\/strong><\/span>

Kaelibeth joined Colorado College in 2021 as an academic administrative assistant supporting the Spanish\/French\/Portuguese departments. She joined the Human Resources Team in 2023.  Kaelibeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and has 5+ years of administrative support experience.
