Employee Experience Developments in 2023<\/h1>\n
<\/div>\n
2023 has been an eventful year. HR has been working hard to help enhance your experience as an employee at CC.<\/span><\/div>\n
Hiring Practices<\/b>: We have revamped our staff hiring practices<\/strong> to attract the best candidates for open positions<\/a> and to contribute to our antiracism goals. Reach out to Missy Liu<\/a> if you plan to start a search so she can share the details. <\/span><\/div>\n
Compensation<\/b><\/a>: <\/span>We implemented the most significant compensation increases<\/strong> in recent years and met the MIT Sustainable wage<\/strong> for full-time employees. We are in the process of creating a new structure<\/a> to help us fulfill our commitment to making sure employees are paid competitively compared to similar jobs in similar organizations. <\/span><\/div>\n
Leave Practices<\/b>: We will be implementing our comprehensive leave enhancements<\/a> on January 1. On this date, hourly employees will begin accruing vacation time at the same rate as our salaried employees.  <\/span><\/div>\n
Feedback Practices<\/b>: Based on lots of feedback from the campus community, we will be rolling out significant changes to the evaluation process. Please take time to sign up for an Excel session on these changes or register to attend the Open Forum<\/a> on January 11 <\/strong>in Gaylord Hall. <\/span><\/div>\n
Training and Development<\/b>: Our new learning system (Bridge) is live. Log in today<\/a>\u202fto check it out and register for Spring Excel at CC sessions! There will be additional training on other features of Bridge coming soon, but in the meantime, please reach out to Sara San Souci<\/a> if you have specific questions.<\/span><\/div>\n
