Booster shots<\/span><\/a> can help protect against the new Omicron variant of Coronavirus. The Student Health Center has confirmed an uptick in influenza cases on campus; <\/span>the entire CC community is encouraged to get vaccinated against influenza as soon as possible. No one has time for the flu!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Although walk-ins will be accommodated, it\u2019s best to make <\/span>an appointment<\/span><\/a> for the on-campus clinic, Saturday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Cornerstone Main Space. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Basic public health practices like wearing masks, staying home and getting tested when sick, washing hands frequently, and social distancing can help protect the campus community from BOTH flu and COVID-19. Avoid unmasked indoor gatherings, including parties.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
If you only need a flu vaccine, call the Student Health Center, <\/span>(719) 389-6384,<\/span> to schedule that stand-alone vaccination. The Student Health Center is experiencing <\/span>a high volume of calls; please be patient and leave a message so a staff member can call you back.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
