Recently, the sustainability and environmental justice movements have achieved major successes that have been decades in the making: the Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement, Justice 40 Initiative, the Inflation Reduction Act. Still, the future has never been as gloomy as it is today. We are at a defining moment to overcome the present challenges and step up our fight to meet the greatest threat humanity has ever faced. Ram\u00f3n Cruz will be sharing his views on these events as a participant in civil society organizations and as the former president of the Sierra Club, the nation’s largest and oldest environmental organization. <\/p>\n
