Join us Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. in Celeste Theatre<\/strong> for an evening with author Rebecca F. Kuang<\/a> as she discusses her novel Yellowface<\/em> \u2013 the audacious novel that’s entertained and challenged readers worldwide.<\/p>\n

A blistering satire of publishing, Yellowface<\/em> grapples with questions of diversity, racism, and cultural appropriation, as well as the alienation of social media.\u00a0A Marshall Scholar with degrees from Cambridge and Oxford,\u00a0Kuang is also the author of The Poppy War <\/em>trilogy and Babel<\/em>. She is currently completing a PhD in East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale.<\/p>\n
