Welcome to the New Year<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n
\nWe are thrilled to continue our sustainability journey with you as we begin the new academic year. This year, we are eager to dive back into impactful programs like the CC Exchange, E-Waste Recycling, Campus Compost, and Sense of Place. We also look forward to collaborating with academic classes, strengthening both on- and off-campus partnerships, and advancing our mission to make our campus a model for sustainability.<\/p>\n

Starting next block the Office of Sustainability will combine our newsletter with the Experiential Education at CC<\/a> offices, including Global Education & Field Study, the CCE, and the Career Center. This joint newsletter will provide and communicate a wide range of opportunities for students to engage at CC. By fostering campus sustainability, we uphold CC\u2019s core value of “nurturing a sense of place and an ethic of environmental sustainability,” while also aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n

The EcoFund is open to all CC students, staff, and faculty<\/b>. It provides financial support for projects, events, or research that advance one or more SDGs and align with campus sustainability initiatives. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with up to $3,000 available per application<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
