Nov. 1-2, more than 1,000 CC faculty, staff, alumni, and students will come together on campus to celebrate Homecoming Weekend.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Nov. 2<\/strong>, the celebration will culminate with THE event of the year \u2013 the 150th Extravaganza in Robson Arena starting at 8 p.m<\/strong>. To access the full weekend\u2019s event offerings, register on-site Friday, Nov. 1 beginning at 10 a.m. in Tutt Library<\/strong>, or, if you\u2019re only interested in attending the Extravaganza, registration will be available on-site in Robson.<\/p>\n

Joe Shelton has been a member of CC\u2019s Campus Safety team for six years, currently serving as Midnight Shift Officer. In his daytime hours, he serves his community in another way, as an Executive Council Member for the El Paso County Democratic Party. And in August, Shelton was one of Colorado\u2019s delegates to the Democratic National Convention.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an amazing time,\u201d says Shelton of attending the DNC in Chicago. \u201cThe convention was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. There is way more to it than what we see on TV.\u201d<\/p>\n
