Disability advocate and educator Dr. Rebekah Taussig, who has been paralyzed since the age of three, will challenge what you think you know about disability. Join Taussig on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, 7-8:30 p.m., <\/strong>Mountain Time, for \u201cDismantling Misconceptions of Disability.\u201d This will be a virtual event in the \u201cDismantling Hate: An Educational Series Toward Understanding and Action\u201d series, shared on Zoom<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n

The <\/em>Dismantling Hate: An Educational Series Toward Understanding and Action series<\/em><\/a> is a campus-wide initiative that provides programming for CC students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members from the Colorado Springs area.\u202fThe purpose and goal of this educational series is to support our communities to better understand hate \u2014 its roots and outcomes, and to motivate people to take action to dismantle hate.\u202fEach educational program in the series features a conversation with an activist, broadly defined, who shares their work and experiences dismantling hate against marginalized communities.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n
