Standing Operational Group (SOG) Updates<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Student Success SOG
\n<\/strong>The Student Support subgroup<\/em> <\/strong>is currently working on mapping existing support networks and making them more accessible to students. Specifically, they are updating and refining the support resources on the CC website and creating avenues for education, including possibly a Canvas button.<\/p>\n

The Monitoring and Assessment subgroup <\/em><\/strong>completed its literature review of national risk indicators and is reviewing gathered quantitative data from the last ten years to look for trends.<\/p>\n

The Digital Student Experience subgroup<\/strong><\/em> held student focus groups to surface trends in technology challenges for students. They are currently mapping those challenges to make an initial set of recommendations.<\/p>\n

The High Impact Pathways subgroup<\/em><\/strong> is in the process of tagging \u201chigh impact\u201d courses across campus. Once that project is complete, they will work on creating pathway maps for distribution to students and in support of advising conversations.<\/p>\n

Enterprise Risk Management SOG \u00a0<\/strong>
\nThe Enterprise Risk Management subgroup<\/strong> <\/em>is meeting with stakeholders cross-divisionally to create mitigation plans to address a list of 11 prioritized risks. Members are currently compiling information for these broad risks, identifying risk owners, risk sources\/triggers, and specific controls to mitigate the identified risks.<\/p>\n

The Incident Management Team<\/em><\/strong> is addressing emerging risks. Topics have ranged from evacuation plans to a safety-staffing matrix for events on campus.<\/p>\n

The Campus Events subgroup<\/em><\/strong> meets blockly to discuss upcoming events across the campus to ensure communication and consistency of processes. They are currently using Momentus to prioritize resources for the 2025-26 academic year. Events will now be placed in five categories: Signature Events, College Business, Athletics, Student Events, and Community Events.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

The Parking TOG <\/strong>would like to share that Campus Safety has a new assistant director, Tyler Koski who will be working with parking. Tyler has been at the College for 10 years and helped migrate parking to a module on our report writing and dispatching software. Park Mobile has been implemented across campus, providing visitor spaces in different lots on campus. The Parking website has been updated with assistance from Communications.<\/p>\n

The Parent & Family Experience TOG<\/strong> is currently finalizing the self-assessment of the CAS Guidelines for Parent and Family Programs. Upon completion the group will develop recommendations, informed by best practices and data-driven insights, to enhance the parent experience at CC. They anticipate that these recommendations will be ready to share by March 2025.<\/p>\n

The Campus Accessibility TOG<\/strong> is continuing to compile a list of current accessibility tools and trainings happening on campus. They\u2019ve begun to identify gaps and complete a self-evaluation tool to help guide their work in developing a plan for addressing gaps. Summer Term (Formerly Summer Session): <\/strong>Logistical support for the Summer Term will continue to be provided by the same offices you work with during the academic year. As the College transitions to this new structure, the Registrar’s Office will designate a point of contact to assist with questions and connect you to the appropriate resources. An updated Summer Term website is also in the works to help direct you to the right information\u2014stay tuned!<\/p>\n

Bridge Scholars Program \u2013 Administrative Update: <\/strong>The Bridge Scholars Program moved from the College Access Office to the Office of Academic Programs, which houses the First-Year Program, on January 20. This change will strengthen coordination among our college transition initiatives while maintaining the unique identity and mission of each program.<\/p>\n

Under the new structure, the Office of Academic Programs will administer both programs and will be supported by the addition of two new faculty fellow positions which will focus on teaching excellence and student engagement. Faculty and staff are invited to attend a town hall to learn more about these changes on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 2-3 p.m. in South Hall Commons.<\/p>\n

State of the Rockies: <\/strong>The State of the Rockies program transitioned under the Office of Sustainability to better align with the College\u2019s sustainability goals. While structural changes are underway, the program remains committed to engaging students in hands-on, interdisciplinary projects addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges in the Rocky Mountain West, in alignment with the Hewlett Foundation\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n

New Assistant Registrar \u2013 Ashley (Nicholas) Belton: <\/strong> The Assistant Registrar position was created to enhance the Registrar’s Office’s capacity to manage academic records, registration processes, and compliance with academic policies, ensuring a seamless experience for students, faculty, and staff. Having multiple individuals with decision-making authority ensures that decisions can be made quickly and efficiently, helping students and staff navigate administrative processes without unnecessary delays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Student Time-Off Policy Updates:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Student Time Off, Withdrawal, & Reinstatement Policy<\/a>\u00a0 went into effect January 20.
