Enterprise Risk Management
<\/strong>The Incident Management Team (IMT) <\/strong>updated the campus evacuation plan. Current information aligns with the Regional Office of Emergency Management evacuation zones.<\/p>\n

In April, members of the IMT participated in a tabletop exercise on Norovirus, a highly contagious gastroenteritis. Primary representatives were asked to bring their backups so they could also experience the exercise. The tabletop was held in the campus safety office. Twenty-two staff members from CC participated as well as a representative from the Regional Office of Emergency Management. Work leading up to this exercise provided information on the capacity of the health center on campus, alternate forms of transportation for ill students, and campus closure guidelines. IMT is working on a prebuilding checklist for closing campus.  <\/p>\n

A test of the RAVE notification system was conducted in conjunction with a \u201cSecure\u201d drill today, April 30.<\/p>\n

Space Governance <\/strong>is focused on developing a clear, consistent process for faculty and staff to request space moves and renovations, which begins with conversations and approval from their respective leaders. In addition, the group is establishing subgroups to advance key priorities: standardizing space data tracking across campus platforms and exploring the implementation of recommendations from the recent space study.<\/p>\n

The Student Success Operational Group<\/strong> consists of several subgroups, each focused on different student success outcomes. The Digital Student Experience<\/strong> and Policy and Process Review<\/strong> subgroups conducted targeted focus groups to understand student experiences and challenges. The Monitoring and Assessment<\/strong> subgroup is analyzing ten years of data to identify factors impacting persistence and graduation rates. The Student Support<\/strong> subgroup has redesigned the student support website and is developing an emergency funding request form. The High Impact Pathways<\/strong> subgroup is nearing completion on tagging courses that include high-impact practices in Banner. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Campus Accessibility <\/strong>has finished their task for this year. An evaluation was completed and recommendations are being made. Some suggestions being considered are more regular accessibility audits of buildings, developing a more comprehensive staff and faculty compliance training, developing a strategic plan for larger accessible facility needs, and providing more supporting information for College constituents who are planning and hosting events and programs. A special thank you to College staff who helped with the work and provided feedback, including Debi O\u2019Connor, Carlose Duarte, David Jensen, Damon Mitchell, Manuel Rendon, Carol Montoya, and Karen To. <\/p>\n

Clery Hazing Reporting<\/strong> presented their first report to the COO. The group is focusing on training for NSO, RAs and RLC\u2019s, the CCSGA, and staff and faculty. Other projects include updating the definition of hazing within the Pathfinder and linking this throughout campus.<\/p>\n

[New] International People and Practices (IPP)<\/strong> is focused on navigating the volatile international landscape and will be meeting weekly. The focus of the group is to stay abreast of changes in international travel, international enrollment, and study abroad, and to help coordinate support for all employees and students with international backgrounds. IPP will identify action items such as protocols, policies, or resources needed to mitigate impact on our people and practices. <\/p>\n

Minors on Campus<\/strong> will be working over the summer to continue its evaluation of the current Minors on Campus policy with the goal of having a new policy ready by Block 3 of the next academic year. The group is also currently working on training for the upcoming summer season for all who interact with minors on campus.<\/p>\n

Parking <\/strong>shared changes to parking fees in the <\/strong>Changes to Staff and Faculty Parking email<\/a> that was sent to campus. Parking continues to work with Park Mobile to improve the experience for guest parking. There are 36 guest spaces spread throughout campus in addition to the FAC. A Work of the College session was held in reference to parking. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
