Like I said, the CC Student Government Association is so back. I was going to write a long \u201cWelcome-Back” email about my Student-Body-President priorities for the coming year.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be honest, you weren\u2019t going to read all that.  <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Instead, I\u2019ve gathered some updates that actually apply to your life:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

  1. If you haven\u2019t heard, we\u2019re renovating the Worner Basement (like fr this time, I called a special session over the summer and everything). BUT it needs a new name. Send name suggestions. Please. Mural competition (paid) incoming also.  <\/li>\n
  2. We\u2019re hosting a feedback session and open forum on the Freedom of Expression Policy. September 11th, 5:00pm, in Tutt 105<\/strong>. Be there. It\u2019s real and important for on-campus activism, advocacy, and so much more.  <\/li>\n
  3. Our Outreach team is looking for students to sit as representatives on the Committee for Instruction, Venture Grant Committee, Scheffer Fund Committee, Academic Events Committee, and Antiracism Commitment Committee. Reach out to c_defelice2023@coloradocollege.edu<\/a><\/a> if you\u2019re interested.  <\/li>\n
  4. Touch grass. I know you need at this point in Block 1.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

    Maybe you wanted the long email instead? Maybe you think we should be doing other, better things? Come join us from 5-6:30 on Thursdays and tell us what we need to be doing.  <\/p>\n

    Also, be on the lookout for a new and improved CCSGA Student Body Prez Blockly newsletter next week (everyone say goodbye to Gossip w\/ The Prez!).  <\/p>\n
