College Events Operational Group (CEOG)<\/strong>
<\/em>The CEOG finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which is designed for planners to ensure that all key departments at CC\u2014including AV, Facilities, the Office of College Events, Robson Arena, the Fine Arts Center, Parking & Campus Safety, and Sodexo Custodial\u2014have a shared understanding of their responsibilities when supporting campus events. The purpose of this agreement is to clarify roles, improve communication, and promote effective collaboration among campus partners. The MOU will be updated and signed annually by campus partners to maintain a clear understanding of each department’s event responsibilities. <\/p>\n

Space Governance Operational Group (SGOG)<\/strong>
<\/em>The first review window for the Space Request Process Pilot will close at the end of this block (Block 2), on Wednesday, Oct. 15. For the pilot year (Fall 2025), the deadline has been extended to the last day of Block 2, with responses provided by the end of Block 3. You can find more information about the space request process and the form to submit your request here<\/a>. Please note<\/strong> that academic departments working on new tenure-track faculty hires should not use this form but instead work directly through the Dean of the Faculty\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n

Parent Experience Operational Group
<\/strong><\/em>The Parent Experience Standing Operational Group has finalized its charge and goals for the academic year. Building on the recommendations from the Temporary Operational Group, our team is focused on advancing a more holistic parent experience that aligns with and supports student success at CC. Specifically, our goals center on four key areas:<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

  1. Creating a coordinated and engaging family communication strategy<\/li>\n
  2. Equipping faculty and staff with training and resources to navigate family interactions within FERPA guidelines<\/li>\n
  3. Educating families on FERPA and campus expectations to foster healthy boundaries and student independence<\/li>\n
  4. Developing programming and volunteer opportunities that guide and support families throughout the student journey.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

    With this framework in place, our group is beginning to work through implementation and will soon begin bringing these priorities to life.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

    Enterprise Risk Management
