Our mission \u2013 to provide the finest liberal arts education in the country \u2013 calls on us to create an environment that fosters a positive racial climate on campus.<\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
As part of CC\u2019s membership in the Liberal Arts Colleges Racial Equity Leadership Alliance and commitment to create a more fair and justice-oriented place to learn, live, and work, the college will conduct three racial climate surveys \u2014 one each for students, staff, and faculty \u2014 to assess the extent to which race matters on campus, as well as the current level of equity at CC.<\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
The National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates survey for staff<\/a> will be conducted between March 29-April 26.<\/strong> A student survey was conducted in Fall 2021 and a survey of faculty will be completed Spring 2023.<\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
Please express your honest and true feelings about the racial climate at CC to help us understand your experiences at the college. Your voice matters. The information you provide will be kept confidential. Results will inform our Antiracism Implementation Plan<\/a>, including new ways to make CC more inclusive. <\/div>\n
