It’s time to start getting ready for the big day\u2014Commencement 2026 takes place Sunday, May 17, at 8:30 a.m., at Ed Robson Arena.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the weeks ahead, you will receive periodic Commencement emails with important reminders and updates. Please keep a close eye on your inbox and the Commencement 2026 webpage<\/a> to ensure you have all the information you need to plan for this important occasion. <\/p>\n

First things first\u2014Don\u2019t forget to apply to graduate<\/strong>! Graduating seniors must submit their application to graduate by Friday, April 17<\/strong>, in order to walk in the ceremony this spring. If eligible, you will find the application on your student menu in Banner SSB. It only takes a few minutes to opt into the ceremony, provide height information for a gown, and confirm other key details. Please also record your name in Canvas to ensure proper pronunciation at the ceremony.  <\/p>\n

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to claim guest tickets for Commencement or Baccalaureate until you complete the apply-to-graduate process.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

The College is pleased to welcome renowned voice actor Dee Bradley Baker \u201986<\/strong> back to campus to deliver the 2026 Commencement Address. <\/strong>Baker\u202fis one of Hollywood\u2019s most celebrated voice actors, with a career of more than 30 years across television, film, and video games and recognition as a\u202ftwice Emmy-nominated\u202fperformer.\u202f <\/p>\n

Baker earned a\u202fBA in Philosophy\u202ffrom Colorado College with extensive study in\u202fGerman, plus a wide-ranging mix of\u202fbiology\u202fand\u202fart\u202fcourses. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n

He also spent much of his time at CC in\u202fchoir, singing, and on stage\u2014an early foundation for his performance career. Baker is a passionate advocate for the\u202fpractical power of\u202fa liberal\u202farts education\u202fin a changing world.\u202f <\/p>\n

He is known for voicing\u202fCaptain Rex\u202fand the clone troopers in\u202fStar Wars: The Clone Wars<\/em>, all five members of\u202fStar Wars: The Bad Batch<\/em>,\u202fPerry the Platypus in\u202fPhineas and Ferb<\/em>,\u202fKlaus\u202fin\u202fAmerican Dad!<\/em>\u202fand\u202fSquilliam\u202fin\u202fSpongeBob SquarePants<\/em>. His game credits include\u202fGravemind\u202f(Halo<\/em>),\u202fVariks\u202f(Destiny<\/em>), and\u202fHammond\/Wrecking Ball\u202f(Overwatch<\/em>).\u202f <\/p>\n

A baccalaureate is a centuries-old graduation tradition. This ceremony provides a quiet, intimate opportunity to reflect on the rite of passage of graduation, hear from a faculty member, and enjoy students’ talents. Seniors who have applied to graduate will receive an email as we get closer to the ceremony with instructions for how to claim tickets (up to two guests per student) to Baccalaureate. A livestream of Baccalaureate<\/a> will also be available online.  <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
