Ninety-five percent of Indigenous women who go missing in the United States never make the national news. On May 5, CC will help bring those stories to light through “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives: National Day of Theatre Readings.”<\/p>\n

Held in the Fine Arts Center Taste Room, the event is part of a national movement raising awareness of the violence facing Indigenous people across Turtle Island and the Americas. By hosting the reading, CC joins communities across the country in supporting the Native Performing Arts Network while helping build Indigenous and allied community here in Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n
