Come Together for Opening Convocation<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Begin the 2026-27 academic year with CC spirit, reflection, and community. Opening Convocation will take place Monday, Aug. 24, at 9 a.m. in Shove Memorial Chapel<\/strong>. This annual CC tradition gives us an opportunity to welcome new members of our community, reconnect with colleagues and friends, and set our sights on the year ahead. Attendees will hear from Sophia Murphy \u201927, President of the Colorado College Student Government Association, and President Manya Whitaker.<\/p>\n

Faculty members who would like to march in the ceremony should register today<\/a>. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m.<\/strong>, immediately following Opening Convocation.<\/p>\n

Faculty, staff, and students are all encouraged to attend. Your presence will help make this a meaningful and inspiring start to the semester.<\/p>\n
