The campus community is invited to a special two-day program centered on Transforming Images: New Mexican Santos in-between Worlds<\/em><\/a>. The program will bring together artists, scholars, spiritual leaders, and community voices to explore the sacred images of New Mexican santeros<\/em> that form the heart of the collection cared for by the Fine Arts Center. <\/p>\n

On Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5-6:30 p.m.,<\/strong> in the Agents of Care Gallery at the FAC, a panel discussion<\/a> will explore the spiritual, artistic, and cultural dimensions of these works and their enduring place in the devotional life of the American Southwest.<\/p>\n
