Dear CC Community,<\/strong><\/h1>\n

I\u2019m excited to share the news that next year Colorado College will host students and faculty from Vermont College of Fine Arts<\/a>. Beginning in Summer 2023, the CC campus will welcome several hundred students, along with faculty members, as VCFA conducts its summer residency program.<\/p>\n

Along with our Fine Arts Center programming and the Summer Music Festival, the VCFA residencies add to the robust offerings open to our campus and broader community in the summer as a part of the vibrant arts landscape.<\/p>\n

In conversations with VCFA\u2019s leadership, they cited CC\u2019s values, commitment to the arts, and sense of innovation along with our facilities, culture, and creative spirit as reasons they sought us out for this partnership.<\/p>\n

We know that our space at Colorado College is a special one. Your work, your pursuits, and your contributions are what have built CC\u2019s outstanding reputation as one of the finest liberal arts colleges in the country. The combination of our strong reputation and beautiful, unique place is drawing organizations from across the country to want to be a part of it. As you may have seen announced last week, our campus will host the World Jump Rope Championships<\/a> at Ed Robson Arena next summer, bringing in 3,000 participants from 30 different countries.<\/p>\n

We are proud of CC\u2019s positive influence on Colorado Springs and on organizations across the country. It\u2019s also exciting to see our summer conferences and programming reenergized after two years of relative quiet. I look forward to sharing additional opportunities to showcase our unique place in the future.
