Housing and Travel

Transportation

There are two airports that service the Colorado Springs area. The first is the smaller local Colorado Springs Airport, located about twenty minutes east of  Colorado College. The second is Denver International Airport, located approximately 1.5 hours north of Colorado College.

There is a shuttle from Denver International Airport to Colorado Springs. The portal closest to campus is the Antlers Hotel (about 0.8 miles south of campus). In some cases, when coming from DIA to Colorado Springs, the shuttle will, upon request, drop you at the Colorado College campus. If not, there is also a free downtown shuttle that you could ride to campus (or it is a nice flat walk). You can get more information or make reservations at their website: Colorado Springs Shuttle

On-Campus Lodging

On-campus lodging will be provided at the John Lord Knight Apartments. Each apartment consists of several single bedrooms with a shared kitchen, living space, and restroom. Bed linens and towels (excluding washcloths) will be provided. (Other toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and lotion will not be provided). The cost is $120.00 per person per night which includes lunch and dinner in the campus dining hall. On the registration form, you will have the opportunity to request who you would like to share an apartment with, if desired. For more information on the apartments (including floor plans), follow this link: JLK

Hotel Lodging

A block of rooms for conference participants has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Downtown which is about 0.7 miles south of campus. The reduced conference rate is $189.00 per night and includes breakfast each day (tax not included). You may use the following link to book your reservation: Hilton Garden Inn. If you would like to call to make your reservation, please call 719-632-1000 and ask for the “Colorado College Math Workshop Group Rate” to reserve your room. Reservations must be made before May 15, 2023 to secure the discounted rate.

Note: The free downtown shuttle picks up a block from the hotel and drops off at Colorado College.

There are also other hotel options in downtown Colorado Springs not affiliated with the conference. Click here for the Colorado Springs tourism website.

Parking

Parking Permits are required to park in any on-campus lot. The W-3 lot is the closest lot to the on-campus housing and the C-1 lot is the closest to Tutt Science Center. If you are staying on campus, permits will be issued upon check-in. If you are staying off-campus, the organizer will provide the permit at the beginning of the first day.
