A few spots are still open for the Block 6 course: MU398 – Musical Creation Cultural Misappropriation. The Block will be taught in Noosa, Australia and will combine issues like music creativity, nature and environment, cultural appropriation and artistic ethics. As part of the class we will meet with artists, musicians, and scholars from the local aboriginal communities, learn about the “Songlines” and “Dreaming Tracks,” participate in a didgeridoo building workshop, and compose music inspired by our experiences.
