Students, you are invited to Tutt Alumni House on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 5:30 pm for our next Fireside Chat: The Slocum Affair. Perhaps you’ve heard of the Slocum Affair, or you’re wondering why Slocum’s name was removed from what is now known as South Hall. Come hang out with Jessy Randall to learn about the deeds and misdeeds of early CC President William Slocum, sometimes known as our very own Harvey Weinstein. The focus will be on the women who took a stand, in 1917, to force him out.

Dinner will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
