About Me

I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Colorado College. I received my PhD in May 2015 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee under the direction of Craig Guilbault. My area of research is in Geometric Group Theory and Geometric Topology. My dissertation, entitled “On the Dimension of Group Boundaries,” explored connections between small scale dimension of group boundaries and large scale dimension of the space the group acts on. For more about my research, see the Research page.

Outside of math, I enjoy skiing, swimming, reading, hiking, traveling, and learning new languages, to name a few.
