Megan NicklausMegan Nicklaus, Career Center director, comes from Vanderbilt University, where she served as the associate director of the Center for Student Professional Development. As the associate director, she oversaw the shift from an advising approach to coaching, and moved the center from traditional “career search mechanics” to broader “professional development opportunities.” She also served as assistant director for career education at Vanderbilt University for three years, and as a career adviser there for four years. She has a B.S. in biology with minors in psychology and Spanish, and a master of arts degree in student affairs in higher education.

Jason OwensJason Owens ’06, is associate director of employer relations. Owens was an El Pomar Foundation fellow after graduation from CC with a degree in history. He earned a master of public administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an associate consultant with the Fels Research and Consulting Group. He later served as a research assistant in public financial management, and as an operations supervisor at McMaster-Carr, in Robbinsville, N.J. Owens actively researches and pursues high quality internship and job opportunities from alumni, parents, and community members and conducts outreach to connect CC students to opportunities.
