David Smith ’70 (left) and Peter Nichols ’70, spent a month trekking in Nepal’s Everest region, where Peter has climbed numerous major peaks (including Ama Dablam in 2005) over the last couple of decades. Peter is a partner with a Denver-based water law firm. David, who recently retired from an investment banking firm he co-founded in 1979 that focuses on multi-family affordable housing nationwide, is a board member with The Nature Conservancy (Colorado chapter) and two other conservation organizations.
