Italian is a piece of cake
A big GRAZIE to Georgia & Kyra for such a fun night!
We got to create our own masks while listening to Italian songs (and, well, ABBA… 😀 ) and we were all so proud of them!
In couples, students, residents and CPCs took the “Quiz di Carnevale” and then we finally enjoyed the food 😉
Oh, and last but not least: Francisco, Gabbie, Maddie and Corrina all came up with new and exciting plans for our community at the Italian House – stay tuned for more information!
Join us for a wonderful Carnival-style party organized by our talented residents & artists Georgia & Kyra! 🙂
Masks and music will contribute to the atmosphere and who knows, maybe we won’t be too sad not to be in Venice this time of the year 😉
Feel free to play with your outfit and be creative, because that’s what Carnevale is all about!

You were a great team, and the final result was delicious – everybody agreed on that when tasting our tiramisu’!
This was the 4th cultural event for the Italian team this block – we enjoyed every single one and we hope you did too!
We’re looking forward to more events next semester, but for now… Buone vacanze! 🙂

A very special event took place on Thursday last week.
The first Open House hosted by the Italian Department welcomed more than 25 people
We entertained our guests with Italian trivia, live music (by famous Major Mandolin!), food, and drinks. Everybody had fun singing, chatting, and getting to know students and teachers from CC’s Italian program. Many thanks to all of you for making this a successful event!
Special thanks to Jessica and Francesca for being our speakers and sharing their experiences and to Ann and Inge for helping us with the organization of the Open House!
A yummy Italian-American colazione was our last event of Block 2!
Thank you David & John for organizing it, you did a great job 🙂 We enjoyed scrambled eggs, mozzarella, muffins, Nutella and grapes while taking part in the ULTIMATE QUIZ ON ITALIAN BREAKFAST! The questions were a bit crazy and random, but it looks like you had fun trying to figure out the right answer. The Third Wheelers & The Vincitori were the official winners, congratulazioni! The Wild Bunch + Alec & Quang were really good competitors, thank you guys for participating. Enjoy block break and a presto!

Great success for the language houses BBQ last Saturday
Our international dishes were yummy and we enjoyed playing different sports/dancing under the sun!
And when we got tired, we just talked in the shades 🙂 If you didn’t join this time, make sure you do come to our next event, see you there!
