Teaching and Multiculturalism and Inclusion Internship at St. Anne’s Middle School in Denver

St. Anne’s Middle School Teaching and Multiculturalism Internship

This middle school internship for 2017-2018 at St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Denver, Colorado is a fantastic opportunity for an early-in-their-career educator to grow their skills as a teacher. The intern will work closely with a mentor teacher in their subject, the middle school division head, and the Director of Multiculturalism and Inclusion, as they gain valuable classroom teaching experience in a subject of their choice, lesson planning experience, targeted feedback on their instruction, and professional development opportunities to develop their pedagogical toolbox.

A passion and interest for supporting equity and inclusion in schools is a requirement, and there will be opportunities to be involved in planning of multicultural curriculum and programming for the school. Additional responsibilities may include coaching, involvement as an advisor, running a club, and other faculty duties. The internship is designed to be a one year position with no guarantee for future full-time employment, though in some cases a second year in the internship is a possibility.

Please email Kelsey Smith, Director of Multiculturalism and Inclusion and CC undergrad (’09) and MAT (’10), with a cover letter at ksmith@st-annes.org, if interested. Thank you!
