Dear CC Community,

We are in grief with the recent losses of three members of our campus community: Daniel Cortés ’23, Aaron Peterson, and Jeffrey Watters.

They were our friends, a classmate, and colleagues whose absence is felt profoundly already. They left an imprint on the fabric of CC.

Our hearts go out to their families, friends, and loved ones. Please keep them in your thoughts as we join them in mourning.

Students, if you or someone you know needs support, please turn to student mental health resources. Our Chaplain, Kate Holbrook, is also available for confidential support to the entire campus community at (719) 389-7986 or chaplainsoffice@coloradocollege.edu.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), (800) 272-7255, is another resource available for those who feel they may need support or a place to talk confidentially.
