Class of 2022 Quote
“As you enter positions of trust and power, dream a little before you think.” — Toni Morrison
Commencement Weekend:
  • Baccalaureate, Saturday, May 21, at 3 p.m., in Ed Robson Arena, kicks off Commencement weekend events with a chance to reflect and express gratitude. Neena Grover, professor of chemistry and biochemistry, will give the Baccalaureate address.
  • Commencement, Sunday, May 22, 8:30 a.m., in Ed Robson Arena. This is the culmination of the academic year, in which we honor the graduates of the Class of 2022. Margaret A. Liu ’77 will deliver the Commencement address.
Baccalaureate and Commencement are open only to graduates and their ticketed guests. A livestream will be available for both ceremonies at coloradocollege.edu/commencement.
Parking and Road Closures
On Commencement morning, guests and volunteers may park anywhere on campus (no fees or permits apply), except the first floor of the Ed Robson Arena parking garage on East Dale St. Golf carts will be available from parking areas across campus to transport guests to Ed Robson Arena.
Accessible parking is available on all levels of the Ed Robson Arena parking garage and in other parking lots on campus. Additionally, the first level of the parking garage is reserved for guests with disabilities who require parking close to the venue.
Guests and volunteers may enter Ed Robson Arena using the entrances on E. Cache La Poudre St. (main entrance) or N. Tejon St., or via the first floor of the arena parking garage.
On Sunday, May 22, the following roads will be closed for Commencement activities:
  • Cache La Poudre St. from N. Nevada Ave. to N. Cascade Ave.
  • Tejon St. from E. Dale St. to E. Cache La Poudre St.
Following Commencement, the President’s Reception will be held on Tava Quad from 11 a.m.-noon, and the campus community is invited to attend. Expect traffic congestion in the area throughout the morning.
