The Colorado College Libraries and the Office of the Dean of the Faculty invite you to the 2024 CC Authors & Creators Reception. This wine and cheese event will recognize CC faculty and staff authors and creators, and all are invited to attend. The event will be held Tuesday, April 16, from 3-5 p.m. in the Julie Penrose Reading Room, on the Garden Level of Tutt Library.

We will be celebrating all publications and creative works that were published, produced, or shown during the 2023 calendar year (January 1 to December 31, 2023). Publications and creative works may include articles, books, contributions to books, CDs, DVDs, exhibition catalogs, shows, exhibits, and more. If you published anything during 2023, please submit your name and citation here by March 31, to ensure your information is in the program and we can celebrate your accomplishments.

We are pleased to announce that the AAYLC will be hosting its annual event at CC tomorrow, Saturday, March 9. This is open to students, staff, faculty, and community members. Committed to its mission of empowerment, AAYLCs goal is to provide innovative programs and experiences that inspire and empower students in their communities and beyond. The conference promises a day filled with interactive workshops, captivating entertainment, opportunities for social development, and invaluable networking experiences. Over its history, AAYLC has welcomed more than 19,000 students of diverse backgrounds from the Pikes Peak Region and beyond.

Please note this will impact parking and many of the buildings on campus.

The College Events Operational Group was formed as a direct response to feedback received from Project 2024. The CEOG is tasked with streamlining our events process to provide a unified CC experience, better allocate resources, and make sure there is less overlap. We have updated our event request form in order to better support each event and campus as a whole.

CC has proven time and again that you can learn so much in a 3.5 week Block. But what about a 3.5 minute Nano Block? What topic could you teach to the CC community in 3.5 minutes? Submit your Nano Block on our Celebrating 150 Years of CC website. 

Visit the Agents of Care gallery Friday, March 15 from 1-4 p.m. in the FAC to explore a selection of works by women artists. Collections staff will be on hand from 1-4 p.m. to engage with visitors in a special drop-in program that is free and open to the public. Works will be on display for the month of March in recognition of Women’s History Month.
