Join us on Monday, April 8, from 4-6 p.m. in Gaylord Hall in Worner Campus Center as we welcome CC alum Andrew Prevot ’05, who will be speaking on the spiritualities of the six Black Catholics who are being considered for canonization.

This talk looks at what we know about Henriette Delille, Augustus Tolton, Thea Bowman, Mary Elizabeth Lange, Pierre Toussaint, and Julia Greeley, to situate them in their historical contexts and discuss similarities with earlier examples of a Christian vita activa.

The lecture is generously sponsored by the Paul Frederick Sheffer Memorial Fund for Roman Catholic Studies.
