Join Dr. Amanda Udis-Kessler for a talk on her book Cultural Processes of Inequality: A Sociological Perspective. The book looks at cultural processes of inequality, providing examples from anti-Black racism, sexism, heterosexism, and cis-sexism in the U.S. This talk will focus on sociological understandings of power and privilege as well as on concrete ways we can work against systemic inequality in our own lives.
