The open enrollment and waiver process for the Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) for the 2026-27 academic year has begun.
All students are required to carry comprehensive health insurance while enrolled at CC. Each year, students must either enroll in SHIP or provide proof of other health insurance coverage. The deadline to complete this process is Aug. 31, but we encourage you to act as soon as possible. Completing the process early helps ensure your student account accurately reflects expected charges, as SHIP coverage is opt-out. If you enroll in SHIP, completing the process early also helps ensure you are ready for coverage to begin on Aug. 1.
If you have not already received it, you will soon receive an email from CC’s SHIP administrator, Academic Health Plans (noreply@ahpcare.com“>noreply@ahpcare.com), inviting you to complete the enrollment or waiver process for the 2026-27 academic year. You can review the 2026-27 SHIP plan details, log in to the student portal, and learn more about the process by visiting Student Health Insurance Requirements.
New this year—login for the student portal will be completed through the CC’s Single Sign-On.
