We are excited to introduce a new budget reporting dashboard hosted in Power Bi, available beginning Monday, Aug. 31
The new self-service dashboard replaces Cognos budget reports previously distributed by email, giving you a more flexible and interactive way to view and explore your department’s financial information through the Single Sign-On (SSO) portal.
Features Include:

- Financial information across all funds
- Budget-to-actual comparison
- Fund, organization, and account level budget details
- Detailed transaction activity
- Two years of historical financial data
- Flexible filtering and drill-down capabilities

The dashboard is refreshed every Sunday night, ensuring updated information is available at the start of each week.

To help you get started, the Finance Office will offer two training sessions:
|
- Monday, Aug. 31, 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Computer lab session for those without a laptop
- Tuesday, Sept. 1, 9:30-10:30 a.m.: Bring your laptop and follow along in the dashboard.
|
We will also hold office hours every Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. throughout September to assist with dashboard access, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on its features.
