Please be advised that, as part of the planning and design process for the New Science Building Project, a geotechnical survey crew will be conducting soil test borings around Olin Hall to evaluate subsurface conditions.
Work Schedule:
Saturday, September 26: All-day drilling operations
Monday, September 28–Friday, October 2: Daily work beginning after 1:00 p.m.
Test borings will be conducted on the east, west, and south sides of Olin Hall. Survey and drilling crews will access the work areas from Armstrong Lot, areas north of Barnes Science Center, and Nevada Avenue.
Community members may notice drilling equipment and support vehicles, survey stakes and utility markings, and temporary activity around the designated work areas.
