Last Chance! Accessibility Resources would love your feedback!

Dear Faculty Member:
The Office of Accessibility Resources celebrates access, equity, and inclusion—elements of a strong liberal arts education that are embraced by Colorado College. Appreciating that disability is integral to the diversity of our campus, we partner with students, faculty, and staff to create a community that welcomes and encourages the full participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of the life of the college.
In an ongoing effort to ensure excellence in Accessibility Resource’s practices and services, our staff asks that you—an important partner in supporting students with disabilities—take a few moments to provide input regarding our work by completing a short online survey. The survey will likely take less than 10 minutes to complete.
The purpose of the survey is to gather information relevant to the evaluation of the Office of Accessibility Resources from a faculty perspective.  We truly value your thoughts and will make a good faith effort to address concerns and opportunities.
Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary, and you may exit the online survey at any time and for any reason.
We welcome your feedback and hope you will choose to click the link below to access the survey. The survey will close on Tuesday, March 21.
Thanks in advance for your time and participation!
Best regards,
Jan, Sara, Zac, and Kimberly

Campus Safety to Test RAVE Notification System

Campus Safety will conduct a test of the RAVE Emergency Notification System Thursday, March 16. This system is used to notify the campus community of any hazardous conditions on campus using the Standard Response Protocol. As a member of the campus community, your CC email is automatically enrolled in the emergency notification system.  If you do not receive the test on March 16, please email campussafety@coloradocollege.edu with “RAVE Emergency Notification” in the subject line.

The emergency notification system provides email and text messages in the event of an emergency; a free companion app for cellphones, RAVE Guardian, expands the platform of services to include real time texting with Campus Safety. Download the app for free in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Join Us Tomorrow for the Upcoming Work of the College Roadshow

Join Us This Wednesday for the Work of the College Roadshow: Anonymous Reporting, Ombuds, Official Complaints, March 15, 2-3 p.m.

Join Tashana Taylor, assistant vice president for Civil Rights and Title IX coordinator, and Lyrae Williams, associate vice president for Institutional Planning and Effectiveness, on Wednesday, March 15, 2-3 p.m. in Yalich Boardroom, to learn about reporting options at CC and the helpful resources available to all members of the CC community.
They will discuss options for reporting various issues, from discrimination and harassment concerns to fiscal and code of ethics-related concerns, as well as share information on asking a question or submitting a report through CC’s new anonymous reporting resource.

Roadshows are part of The Work of the College, a year-long series designed in response to the ModernThink employee engagement survey results. The program has four goals: (1) clarify organizational structures and decision-making processes; (2) offer campus constituencies the opportunity to engage in dialogue with leadership about campus affairs; (3) increase decision-making transparency in hopes of building trust; and (4) build community.

The Work of the College series consists of:

  • Community Conversations (dialogue about specific topics)
  • Roadshows (presentations and Q&As)
  • Board of Trustees Town Halls (informational updates)
