Four hundred forty-six undergraduates and nine master of arts in teaching students received their degrees in Colorado College’s 128th commencement ceremony. Michael Bennet, the new U.S. senator from Colorado, addressed the CC graduating class of 2009. Bennet became Colorado’s senator after Ken Salazar ’77 was named U.S. secretary of the interior. Bennet began his public service career as an aide to Gov. Richard Celeste of Ohio, who is now CC’s president.
