Averil Rothrock is senior counsel at Schwabe, Williamson, & Wyatt’s Seattle office. She chairs the Appellate Section of the King County Bar Association and coaches community youth soccer.

Jennifer Merritt Swope has co-written a catalog and is consulting curator for “Quilts and Color, the Pilgrim/Roy Collection,” an exhibition of quilts that will be on view April 6-July 27 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Daniel Junge’s film, “Saving Face,” won an Emmy for Best Documentary at the National News and Documentary Awards in New York City in October. Daniel won an Academy Award for the same film last year. “Saving Face” tells the story of two Pakistani acid-attack survivors as they attempt to bring their assailants to justice and move on with their lives.

Gillian Munson has joined XO Group as chief financial officer. XO Group provides young women with information, products, and advice they need to guide them through the most transformative events of their lives. Its brands include The Knot, WeddingChannel.com, The Bump, and ljie.com. Gillian lives in New York City with her husband and young daughter.

Carlos Martinez has been hired as an IT manager by Stockman Kast Ryan + Co. in Colorado Springs.

Terry Bramschreiber was awarded a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Denver in June 2013.

Janet Buttenwieser and her husband, Matt Wiley ’93, attended their 20th reunion at CC in October 2013. Janet is a writer, and her work has appeared in the Bellevue Literary Review, Los Angeles Review, and Cirque, and won honorable mention in The Atlantic 2010 Student Writing contest and the 2011 Artsmith Literary Award. She teaches writing classes at Richard Hugo House in Seattle and has a master of fine arts from the Whidbey Writers Workshop. She and Matt live with their two children in Seattle. Gretchen Ann Everhart works as senior project manager for TriZetto in Englewood, Colo. TriZetto delivers IT solutions to healthcare organizations.

Catharine Wood, is a composer, producer, and owner of Planetwood Productions in Los Angeles. In addition to producing singer-songwriters and bands, she and her team compose original music for TV and film.

Shea Andersen ’95 is vice president of Ritter Public Relations in Boise, Idaho. He and his wife, Michelle, have “the two most beautiful daughters in the land and they are all mad for skiing and biking in Idaho.”

On Jersey Day at Legacy Elementary in Frederick, Colo., fourth-grader Mason knew to wear the right jersey. Mason is an ice hockey player and knows that his principal is proud CC graduate Sean Corey ’95.

Jeff Grace is directing his first feature film, starring Alex Karpovsky (HBO’s “Girls”), this year. He produced and starred in “It’s A Disaster,” with David Cross, Julia Stiles, and America Ferrara; that film is available on Netflix.

Kishan Mangat was named one of the GenXYZ top five by ColoradoBiz magazine in October 2013. He was a co-founder of BroadHop, which was acquired by Cisco Systems Inc. in January 2013.

Amy Horn Dana has been named advancement database and records manager at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. She and her husband, Andrew, had a son, Alexander, in 2012.

Liz Dunn participated in the August 2013 Transrockies trail race, running 120 miles in six days and gaining a total of 20,000 feet in elevation from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek, Colo.

Kent Van Vleet has been named partner at Whitman Partners Inc., a national search firm specializing in placement of directors of surgical services. He and his wife, Libby Mack ’97, live in Portland, Ore., with their two children.
