Brian Bones ’08 married Victoria Stuss on March 28, 2014, in Washington, D.C. They are medical students at Georgetown University School of Medicine and live in Arlington, Va. Their ceremony was celebrated by Jim Malcolm, professor emeritus and former head of CC’s Theatre Department.

Steve Cross ’64, left, joined Anne Goodman James, swim coach and aquatic director, and Matt Railey ’64 during October’s 50th anniversary celebration of the Schlessman Pool and CC’s first swim team. In September 2013, Steve captained the record-setting Catalina Channel Relay Team, comprised of male swimmers age 70-plus.

Maggie Seay ’11, Tom Dugan ’08, Carola Lovering ’11, and Nate Danforth ’10 competed in the July 2013 New York City Triathlon on behalf of the Harlem Lacrosse & Leadership charity, a New York City-based nonprofit and youth service organization Dugan founded with Simon Cataldo ’08. Logan Roberts ’10 designed the group’s triathlon suits.

Kie Riedel ’10, in white top, and Lacey Ramirez ’05, joined Maasai warriors for a photo opp in Kenya. Kie works for Innovations for Poverty Action Lab on a study evaluating safe water dispensers, and Lacey works for the World Bank on a study evaluating HIV/AIDS education.

Prudence Hawthorne Abeln ’74, right, read the memoir “Radical Survivor: One Woman’s Path Through Life, Love, and Uncharted Tragedy” by Nancy Saltzman ’74 and reconnected with her. On the board of the Society of the Muse of the Southwest in Taos, N.M., Prudy recommended the group invite Nancy to attend their Writers Night Winter Series in February 2014.
