Colorado College welcomes the approximately 530 members of the Class of 2020, with New Student
 Orientation starting Saturday, Aug. 20. CC received 7,997 applications for the incoming class, just short 
of the record 8,064 applicants a year before. Offers of admission were extended to 1,270 applicants, resulting in a 15.9 percent admittance rate, a record low.

The 2016 New Student Orientation book is “Whistling Vivaldi,” a highly readable, first-person account by Claude Steele with groundbreaking conclusions on stereotypes and identity.
