Allysa Warling ’19 was named the women’s outdoor track and field Newcomer of the Year for the 2016 season after exclusive voting by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference head coaches.
 
The Loveland, Colorado, native won the 5K title and finished second to teammate Katie Sandfort ’17 
in the 10K in April at the 2016 SCAC Championships. A few weeks later, Warling set a school record in the 10K and dropped her personal-best time by more than two minutes with a 37:38.33 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central College.
