Sue Arnold Mitchell was honored as a 7Everyday Hero by Channel 7­-KMGH in Denver for her 10 years as a volunteer at The Conflict Center. Since 1987, the center in northwest Denver has been committed to reducing the levels of physical, emotional, and verbal violence in the world by teaching anger and conflict management skills to children, youth, and adults. Sue has worked on various committees, served as president of the board of directors for two years, and worked in elementary schools with The Center’s Reading for Peace program.
