Dear Campus Community,
We are following up on the message we sent on Tuesday about sexual assault support and resources. Upon hearing concerns from students, we are taking a step back to reconsider how best to approach listening to student needs and providing information and support.
The forum that was initially planned for Monday, Nov. 1, is canceled. We are in discussions with the Student Title IX Assistance and Resource Team, the Student Organization for Sexual Safety, CC Student Government Association, and other student groups and individuals, and will provide an update on next steps soon.
These issues and communications may have brought up feelings such as anxiety, trauma, or hurt. If you need support, please contact the sexual assault response coordinator, START, or turn to the college’s other support resources.
